We provide full landscape architecture services through the entirety of a project. The process often includes:

  • A site visit will help inform overall site analysis and a time to share your vision, history, and concerns with your property.

  • Good ideas start with pen on paper. Design is a process that is iterative and concept development allows for exploring possibilities to achieve a design that fits within its context.

  • A zoomed-out scale of the proposed design that focuses how the project can be phased. Exceptionally important for campuses, hospitality projects, and larger residences.

  • Full construction drawings for contractors to build from. These often include dimensions, layout, details of materials, planting plan, grading plan, and lighting plan.

  • Elements of the design that require finer detail for construction such as paving patterns, walls, and special conditions of material adjacencies.

  • Close coordination with contractors during construction and site visits to monitor progress.

For the homeowner who needs help getting the creative juices flowing, Erica will walk your property and give you advice and ideas on the spot.

Phased Master Plan

If you are interested in long term planning and to set the pace of a project yourself, a master plan is a good option to have an overall vision and how you may phase it in the future.

Trail Design Planning

Enjoy all your property has to offer by exploring beyond your yard. After studying your property on foot and using GIS, Erica can create an illustrative trail map that can be georeferenced to give to a contractor.

Planting Plan

Typically included in full design documentation, a planting plan for an isolated area can be provided a la carte.
